How to Pack Handbags for Moving?
Empty your purse. Check all the pockets and ensure all the spaces are empty.
Wrap all the exposed parts of the purse, like the snaps, zippers, pulls and buckles by wrapping them with a piece of tissue paper.
Make sure you position these parts of the purse in a way that they don’t impact the shape of the purse while moving.
Place the purse in a soft dust bag to avoid dust affecting the purse. Do not use bags with colours like black, blue or red, as their dye can get transferred onto the purse.
Place the purse into its original box in an upright position. If you store them sideways or upside down, they can lose their original shape.
If you don’t have the original box, pick one of a similar size and pack the purse in it. Place tissue paper in the box to prevent the purse from moving inside the box.
Secure the box with tape and mark the box as fragile.
Avoid placing heavy objects above the box to prevent distorting the purse’s shape.
You can then move your purse along with the other items to your new place. I hope this helps.
