It is easy to make wall paint lighter. Just add a bit of white to the main paint and get a lighter shade of it. Here is a step-by-step process that you can follow:
Take a small bucket and pour around 60 percent of the main paint into it
Add around 5-10% of the white paint as you need.
Mix the two paints and see what shade you get
If you want a darker shade, add a bit of main paint. If you want a lighter shade, add a bit of white paint.
