Mark the center point on the window
Next install the weather strip to block the incoming air
Install the side panels onto your AC next and tighten them up with screws
Install your AC safely on the window
Use L brackets if possible to keep the AC firm and secure in its place
Fasten the side panels with the AC that you had installed before
Use foam insulation to fill the gap around the AC
