Place the AC near a window and a grounded power outlet. Give it some breathing room like at least 20 inches (50 cm) away from walls or curtains, so the air flows freely.
Slide the window bracket to fit your window's width (or height for sliding windows). Lock it in place using the included plastic pins or knobs. Many kits come with adhesive foam, so apply this to the window sash for a better seal against the heat.
Attach the connectors to both ends of the hose. Snap one end onto the back of the AC and click the other end into the window bracket adapter.
Place the bracket in the window and close the window snugly against it. Double check that the hose is relatively straight. Don’t over bend or extend it with extra parts, as this can cause the unit to overheat.
Turn on the power of the AC.
