After marking the area, he used weatherstrips to seal around the window to seal all the gaps and prevent air from getting into the room.
He then attached the support brackets to the window frame using adhesive strips, which didn’t require drilling.
Next, he placed the window unit onto the brackets and kept it centred and secured.
To give stability, he adjusted the support brackets.
Finally, he connected the AC with the power cord that was provided with the unit.
That’s how we got the installation done, which was a quick process. If you’re doing it yourself, make sure you follow the instructions given by the manufacturer. Also, check if the window is behind the AC unit’s frame; otherwise, it won’t be secured properly and may fall.
