It also helps in obtaining death benefits or obtaining real estate in the deceased person's name. The Revenue Authorities of Karnataka provides a family Tree certificate for property inheritance.

Eligibility for a Karnataka Family Tree Certificate

A family's wife, husband, son, daughter, or mother may request a Family Tree certificate.

How do I apply for a Karnataka family tree certificate online?

There are two places where you can apply online for a Family Tree certificate in Karnataka;

  • Nadakacheri 

  • Seva Sindhu 

Follow the steps below to obtain the certificate via Nadakacheri;
  • Navigate to the Nadakacheri homepage.

  • On "Online Application," click.

  • Select "Apply Online."

  • the cell phone number.

  • Select "Get OTP."

  • Then select "New Request."

  • Attestation of Family Tree should be chosen.

  • Choose between English and Kannada for the certificate's language.

  • Specify the user here.

  • Choose either registered mail or Nadakacheri as the mode of delivery.

  • The necessary paperwork for the Family Tree certificate should be uploaded.

  • Click "Save."

  • Then select "Online Payment."

  • Choose the Card type and Card payment.

  • Then select "Make Payment."

  • After a successful transaction, an ACK number will show up in the relevant Nadakacheri's for the remainder of the application procedure. The concerned Nadakacheri centre will provide the final certificate.

Follow the steps below to obtain the certificate via Seva Sindhu;
  • visit the Seva Sindhu website

Click here to visit the Seva Sindhu page
  • Then select "Department services."

  • Assurance of a search.

  • On the Family Tree Attestation tab, click.

  • Select "Apply Online."

  • You can register as a new user on the Seva Sindhu portal. Use your mobile number to log in if you're already a user.

  • Select "GET OTP"

  • Choose from Kannada or English for the certificate's language.

  • Specify the user here.

  • Select "I agree" and then enter the supplied Captcha code to submit.

  • Save the necessary papers after attaching them.

  • The saved documents will be shown.

  • Click "e-sign" to continue.

  • It will show the E-Sign page. To acquire an OTP and continue with the payment, enter your Aadhaar number.

  • To continue, click Make Payment.

  • When the transaction is successful, a Sakala acknowledgement is produced.

  • Tap on Attestation of family tree.

  • Click on the Apply Online button.

  • Sign in with Login ID, OTP, or Password and display CAPTCHA.

  • Select from Kannada or English for the certificate's language.

  • Select the "I Agree" checkbox, enter the given Captcha code, and then submit.

  • Upload the necessary documents, e-sign the page, and do the payment.

  • You will get the acknowledgement.

  • After the v

    erification by the concerned section and approval from Shirastedar, your family certificate will be issued to you.
