How Do You Deep Clean a Mattress?
I remove the bedsheet, pillow covers, and mattress cover. Put everything in the washing machine and use hot water to kill germs and dust mites.
Use my vacuum with the brush head and clean it properly. Focusing more on corners and edges, a lot of dust hides there.
I take some normal baking soda from the kitchen and spread it fully on the mattress. Leave it for 2 to 3 hours. It helps to remove smell, oil, and moisture.
After that, I vacuum the whole mattress again to remove the baking soda.
Finally, I place the mattress near a window where sunlight comes. Sunlight helps to kill germs and remove any leftover smell.
I also flip and turn the mattress. It helps avoid sagging and keeps the mattress in good shape for a long time. I hope you now have a clear idea of how to deep clean your mattress.
