How to register complaint in CIBIL if you are dissatisfied with the response of CIBIL customer care?

You can lodge your concern via the CIBIL Grievance Desk or Escalation Desk if you are dissatisfied with the response you have received from the CIBIL customer care department. Although there are three phases to it, you can only move on if you are unhappy with the ones before it. The three steps for handling grievances are;

  • Escalation level 1: 

The initial and most important step is to submit the "Escalate to Level 1" form online. To escalate the problem you are experiencing, you must provide a valid SR, or service request, number. Within the next 15 working days, CIBIL will reply to you. 

  • Escalation level 2: 

Your complaints can only be taken further if you are dissatisfied with the response you got at the first escalation level. Within the next 10 working days, CIBIL will reply to you.

  • Escalation Level 3:

If your issue is still unresolved, you can fill out an online form to "Escalate to Level 3" on the CIBIL official website. Within the next 8 working days, CIBIL will respond to your inquiry.
