You need to be very careful while cleaning the keyboard since any mistake can completely ruin it or damage it. Here are some steps that you can follow to clean the keyboard:
Unplug your keyboard or, in the case of a laptop, just switch off your laptop
Turn the keyboard upside down and shake it a little so that few hard particles can fall off
Dampen a soft cloth or cotton with alcohol and wipe the surface of the keys
You can use a toothpick and remove small debris
Clean the keyboard again with a dampened cloth
Lastly, use a dry cloth to remove the dust particles and it is done.
If you do not have alcohol, just follow the above-mentioned steps, and instead of alcohol, use compressed air. If you don’t have it too, you can go for dish wash liquid as well but make sure the cloth is not too wet or it may damage your keyboard.
