How to check nominee in PF account?

Checking Nominee in PF account is crucial and mandatory. If you haven't added a nominee to your PF account, you won't be able to check your PF balance. We should always check the nominee of PF account and if that hasn't been updated we should take the initiative to update the nominee. Today I will share with you how to check nominee in EPF. The process is very easy and I will also share with you how to change the nominee in EPF as well. 

Both the employer and the employee contribute a minimum of 12% of the basic salary and dearness allowance for an employee's PF. This PF is a backup option that helps us immensely after our retirement. So, PF is a fund that helps in saving. 

How to check nominee in pf account?

To check the EPF nominee you can visit the EPFO website. You need to enter your UAN number and password to log in. Click on Member UAN/Online service. After this, you will be easily able to check out the nominee of PF account. This is an easy process for how to check EPF nominee. 

You may want to change the nominee of the EPF account so I will share a step by step guide for the same:

• Go to the EPFO website.

• Login with your UAN and Password.

• Choose 'E-Nomination' located under 'Manage Tab'.

• You will find the 'Provide Details' tab, tap on 'Save'.

• Tap on 'Yes' if you want to update Family Declaration.

• Add the Family details. You can add more than one nominee here.

• Tap on 'Nomination Details' and declare the amount of share. Now tap on 'Save EPF Nomination'.

• To generate the OTP click on 'E-Sign'. The OTP will be sent to the mobile number that is updated on your Aadhar card.
