Visit the municipal online portal (
https://cdma.cgg.gov.in/cdma_wt/WaterTap/NewWaterTapConnection) and apply using your property tax assessment number, which auto-fills your details.
Complete the application form with all required connection details and upload mandatory documents. Submit the form.
A unique application number is generated and sent via SMS. Use it for tracking and payment.
The application is reviewed in EMAS. The Assistant Engineer (AE) checks documents and requirements. If there are shortfalls, the AE notifies the applicant.
A field inspector visits the property to verify details. Remarks are entered into EMAS and forwarded to the Municipal Engineer.
The Municipal Engineer forwards the application to the Municipal Commissioner, who then sends it to the Municipal Chairman/Mayor for final approval.
Charges are calculated and made available for online payment. SMS notification is sent to the applicant.
After payment, a work order is issued, and the water connection is installed.
The Municipal Commissioner releases a digital/e-signed water connection certificate, which the applicant can download using the application number from the CDMA portal or ULB website.
This process ensures a verified, legally approved water connection with proper documentation.
