If your water biller is listed on the app, you can pay it using Google Pay. The method is straightforward. You have to locate your water biller, enter your customer information, review the bill amount, and make the payment. How can I Pay Water Bill through Google Pay?
Open Google Pay on your phone.
Scroll to Bills and Recharges and click on "Manage".
Click on “View All” near the Payment Categories.
Scroll down and click on the Water icon.
Search for your water suppliers or boards and select the correct one from the results.
Enter the customer ID or account number that appears on your water bill.
Check the name, bill amount, and additional details before paying.
Choose your preferred payment option and hit Proceed to Pay.
If required, complete the payment with your UPI PIN.
Once the payment has been completed, check the transaction status and save the confirmation for your records.
What Should You Do If Your Water Bill Payment Fails?
If the payment fails, do not try to pay again right away, especially if money has already been deducted.
No money was deducted: Check the details and try your payment again.
Money was deducted: Check the transaction status before proceeding with another payment.
Payment failed, but funds were deducted: Wait for the funds to be reversed or reimbursed.
Problem continues: Open the transaction in Google Pay and select the relevant support or dispute options.
Bill is still shown as unpaid: Save the transaction information and contact your water provider or Google Pay support.
