I moved to Yarandahalli for affordability and peace. The area still feels like a village in some parts like lots of greenery, small kirana stores, and no constant honking like city roads. Rent is cheap compared to Bommasandra or Chandapura. But my job is near Electronic City, and honestly, traffic is unpredictable. Some stretches are not well-lit at night either. BMTC buses are there but not too frequent.

For the price we pay, we have a decent flat with a balcony, borewell water, and power backup. The downside? There's hardly any nightlife or malls nearby. You’ll have to go all the way to Hosur Road or HSR Layout for that.

I bought a 30x40 plot here 5 years ago. Prices have already doubled. With Bommasandra Metro line under development and Narayana Hrudayalaya nearby, it's bound to grow. Still a bit rural, yes, but that’s changing fast. I plan to build and retire here.

I bought property here to rent it out to industrial workers and young professionals. Demand is decent due to proximity to Jigani and Bommasandra industrial areas. But water supply is inconsistent, and BBMP coverage is limited. You still rely on borewells and tanker water.

I stay in a PG here as my college is nearby. It's okay short-term. Not very happening, but I like the quiet. Roads are still being widened, and drainage can be an issue during rains. I wouldn’t recommend it for long-term rental unless you work really close by.
