Living in Ketkipada has been affordable compared to nearby localities. I walk to the station in under 10 minutes. However, there’s some noise from traffic during peak hours, and the area tends to get waterlogged in heavy monsoons.

I’ve owned a 1BHK flat in Ketkipada for 10 years. The location is very convenient with quick access to Western Express Highway and Dahisar station. However, internal roads are often congested, and parking is limited in most societies.

I chose Ketkipada because of the easy commute to my office in Borivali. Daily needs are within walking distance. The only issue is with irregular garbage pickup, especially in narrow lanes.

The best part of owning a flat here is the connectivity. We have schools, clinics, grocery shops, and the highway within reach. However, most buildings are over 15 years old and lack modern amenities.

I invested in a small flat in 2016 and have seen slow but steady rental growth. Tenants prefer the area for its convenience, but the resale market isn’t very good
