About Juhu

Juhu is a posh residential neighborhood, primarily known for its famous Juhu Beach. Situated in the South-west Mumbai, it is close to various popular localities like Flying Club Shanty Town, Shivaji Nagar, Gulmohar Rd, Juhu Vile Parle Development Scheme, Vallabh Nagar and Nutan Laxmi Colony. Back in the nineteenth century, Juhu Beach was an island, previously known as 'Juvem' during the Portuguese Empire. In 1890, Jamsetji Tata constructed a bungalow near the riverbanks. Later, the establishment of resorts, huge hotels, and clubs started here. The Juhu pin code is 400049.

Juhu most famous area of Mumbai known for celebrities of Bollywood

Living here is a big perk in terms of commuting and travelling. there's metro and airport very close by and I love the malls that surround the area. Plus the sea view apartments are to die for

We’ve lived here a decade and the community vibe and greenery in JVPD are real benefits. Maintenance is higher near the sea though. The security is top notch around the region. But the noise can get real at times as it's closr to beach and main road

The airport proximity is the biggest plus. And roads are well maintained and safe to walk on. This is where the rental yield comes beneficial. Good for buy to rent investors. Market fluctuations happen but still it remains a safe investment

The only downside is the traffic on western express highway. Besides that, I love this area. it's very pretty and peaceful and also convenient for daily commuters
