Buying a flat in Juchandra was one of the smarter financial decisions I’ve made. Property rates here were significantly lower than central Mumbai and even Vasai-Virar when I invested.

Rental options are far more economical here than central Mumbai. But it's only good for short term stays. I stayed here for 6 months for an internship nearby so that was okay for me. No metro connectivity yet. And shared autos are available but not very frequent during odd hours. So commuting on a daily basis can be a problem.

The area is peaceful. No constant traffic noise or crowded streets. But development is slow. The roads are narrow and some internal ones still get flooded during heavy rains. That makes commuting tricky too.

It’s cost-effective. Monthly maintenance is low, groceries are affordable too. Juchandra is suitable for retirees like us who don't want the chaos of Mumbai city. The air feels cleaner, and we even grow a few plants on our balcony

Rents are super affordable. I work remotely, so I don’t need to live close to business hubs. I got a 1RK at half the price I used to pay in Dombivli

Whats good about Juchandra

  • About 30-35 miles from Lower Parel and Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), two prominent business centers
  • The distance between popular areas and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport is roughly 23 kilometers.
  • NH-48, Ghodbunder Road, Western Railway Line, and Western Express Highway provide reasonable access to the MMR.
  • Bombay Bottles, INDOFAB, and Stylrite Optical Industries are among the manufacturing companies that call Mira Road home.

  • In the Vasai Creek reserve forest region, some 13 square meters of mangrove land have been unlawfully destroyed for aquaculture.
  • Falls into open drainage have been blamed for several accidents in Nallasopara.
