Renting here has been budget-friendly. The area is mostly residential and quiet. We have a school and temple nearby, but the roads could use better lighting and footpaths in some areas.

Our society is well-maintained, and Ghatla is generally clean. There’s decent access to public transport. Only issue is limited parking and the absence of big parks or recreational zones.

The cost of living here is relatively lower than central Chembur. Markets and local eateries are close by. During heavy rains, a few internal lanes flood, but overall the area is manageable.

I shifted here for its proximity to my office in Wadala. The locality is peaceful but lacks greenery or open areas. Commute options are decent, especially for short distances.

I bought a flat in Ghatla in 2016. Rental demand has been consistent due to its proximity to Chembur, Kurla, and Govandi. Appreciation has been moderate, but occupancy rates are high.
