I moved to Dahanukar Wadi two years ago. The area is lively, and I get autos and buses easily. Rent is slightly on the higher side, but worth it for the location. Lots of grocery stores, chemists, and restaurants around. Even late nights feel quite safe.

Bought a 1BHK here in 2015, and the value has more than doubled. Demand is strong because of the metro and Western Express Highway nearby. Families, bachelors, and working couples all look to rent here. Maintenance is higher in newer buildings, but returns are good.

I own a flat near the Jain temple here. It’s a close-knit community. Area has changed a lot with new buildings, but the spirit remains. Local markets, schools, and clinics are all within 5–10 minutes. It’s not glamorous, but it’s very liveable.

Staying here with my flatmate, both in IT. It's close to Link Road, so getting cabs and commuting is easy. Metro construction caused some mess earlier, but things are better now. You’ll find gyms, salons, and even a few quiet cafes. Area has a mix of old and new buildings.

Decent middle-income area with solid investment value. I didn’t expect huge appreciation but was happy with consistent rental returns. Building societies are cooperative, and most flats stay occupied. Location works well for professionals who can’t afford places like Bandra or Lokhandwala.
