There are many ways in which you can pay bills online or offline. If you want to pay bills offline, visit the designated office and pay the bill there. I got a bit concerned about how to pay online water tax in Maharashtra but after researching it online, I got to know about its official portal. You can pay the bills via apps as well but let me share some of the state’s respective official websites here.

My father was telling me about old days when he had to stand in very long queues for hours and hours on end to pay bills. Now, all the bills including gas, water, electricity can be paid easily online. All you require is an internet connection, necessary documents and your cell phone. There are many websites that let you pay utility bills online like NoBroker, Pyatm, Google Pay etc.. These sites are easy to use. Once you make your payment with one of these sites, you will get a payment notification from the bank as well.

I have paid my  water bill online on the NoBroker website. I would recommend you do the same.I will share the link for it right here . 

• Once you have opened the portal.

• You will see an icon of a tap which says ‘ water’

• Click on the icon.

• From the drop down menu, select the water board whose bill you want to pay. Eg I selected the Bangalore Water Supply and Sewage Board as I wanted to pay their bill.

• Further, mention the RR number or  Connection ID or the customer ID. 

• The payment portal will open up.

• Check the details that have been displayed on screen. 

• Make the payment via net banking or UPI apps according to your convenience. 

• Finish the payment by putting the OTP wherever it is required. 

• E payment of water bill is now done. 

• Save the receipt or  take a screenshot for future use.
