Here, I’ll share the dimensions according to the window types.

What are the Standard Size Windows for Bedrooms?

• Casement Window:

  These are built out of metal and wooden frames and are attached to the upright end of the frame. The windows move horizontally inward and outward.

  The standard size of such a window is between 12 inches to 24 inches in width and 24 inches to 84 inches in height.

• Sliding Window:

  These windows slide horizontally to open and close. Tracks are installed along the top, and a button for the window to slide.

  The standard size ranges between 24 inches to 60 inches in height and 36 to 84 inches in width.

• Single and Double-Hung Windows:

  A single hung window has a single movable sash, while a double hung window has two sashes. The sash moves from the bottom to the top, through which air and sunlight enter our room.

  The standard size for such a window is between 24 to 36 inches in width and 60 to 84 inches in height.
