So, I would also like to take the opportunity to explain it.The full form of BU Code on electricity bill means 'Billing Unit'. The BU Code is also known as BU Number or Sub Divisional Code. In MSEDCL there are many billing units. The BU Code in the electricity bill consists of 4 digits which determines our billing unit.
