Hey,
A distribution network's electric usage is tracked by an electronic instrument called an electric metre. Utility sub-metering is a form of billing that enables a landlord, property management firm, condominium association, homeowners association, or other multi-tenant property to charge renters for specific utility usage.
Calculating an electricity bill from a metre or sub-meter reading will essentially follow the same procedure. So, I suggest you go through the following answer to understand how to understand the calculation of electricity bill from meter reading.

My last month's reading is 100260 and this month is 102246. How can I calculate my bill when it shows that we use 92 units? Actually, we are using a sub-meter so we need to calculate it but I am not understanding it. Can you explain the calculation?
