The first task is to figure out the sheen of your walls. Flat and matte finished walls need a gentle approach to washing. You can get a little rough with eggshells and higher kinds. But still, it is necessary to start slowly, as you don’t want to chip off the paint.
Next, keep towels or rags on the floors next to the walls so that they can catch any dirt or water that spills.
Now, take a non-abrasive spine and dip it in hot water. Make circular motions around light stains to clean them. Be gentle during this process.
If you feel that this isn’t effective enough, you can make a cleaning solution by mixing warm water and a mild dish detergent.
