One of the best ways to make your old, boring furniture look brand new is by upholstering it. You can choose between different fabrics, prints, and colors. You will need to know how to upholster a chair but don’t worry. The process is simple and can be attempted by a layman. Overall, the cost of upholding will not hurt your pocket as well.   1. Strip Furniture 
You will need to strip the old fabric off the furniture with the help of a staple puller/remover. Just remove the fabric and keep it aside. If the old pins and upholstery are in good shape, you can later repurpose them. 
  1. Fabric Panel:
Take the new fabric panel and just spread it over the piece of furniture. For the chair, stretch the fabric over the back first. Make sure the fabric pattern is lined up straight. 
  1. Trim :
Depending on the trend, design of the furniture, you will need to trim the fabric. Trim it as neatly as you can while making sure the fabric reaches all the staple lines.   Now that I have told you how to reupholster chairs. It is my duty to remind you to wear protective eye gear and gloves throughout the process. 4. Application : You will then need to apply the new fabric while making a tight grip.
