Assembling the office chair is not hard, let me tell you how to assemble office chair:Unboxing EverythingFirst, unbox every screw and unwrap every part that you receive in the package. This will help you assemble the chair easily and you won’t scramble for the pieces while you’re at work.Assembling the BaseFor this, you will have to push the caster wheel in the base. In some cases, the wheels may require you to tighten the bolts, and it’s very easy so you won’t have any trouble doing it.Assembling the Gas StrutYou are required to attach the gas strut. For this, put the gas strut cover over the gas strut. You can also keep the gas strut into the five-star base in the next step.Attaching Gas Strut to BaseFor attaching the gas strut to the base, you are required to align it with the base and press it. This will become tight once you sit on the chair.Attaching the Seat, Backrest, Headrest, and ArmrestNext, fit the chair together. You are required to attach the backrest, headrest, armrest, and seat. You can attach them and bolt them together depending on the mechanism.Final AssemblyIt’s time to finish assembling the chair. For this, you are required to align the upper part of the chair with the main chassis and the gas strut. This chair is one of our mesh chairs, so some parts may differ in size and style from the chair you have ordered. We chose this chair because it requires more assembly than most of our other chairs. It acts as a good guide/example to show how easy even this is to put together.
Unpack all items and lay them out, as you can see there isn’t much to it.
Take the casters and push them into the 5-star base
Place gas strut cover over gas strut
Place the gas strut into a 5-star base, it has a tapered fit - So itwill become tighter once the chair is sat on.
Fit the chair back onto a mechanism, it just slides in as shown below. The image below shows the chair back being held upside down to make it easier to slide onto the main chair mech (Mechanism). Bolt it together using the bolts supplied (Only 3 are needed in the example shown below)
Now place the main chair mechanism (with the chair back attached) onto the underside of the seat, aligning the 4 bolt holes in the underside of the seat. Then bolt the mech onto the seat as shown below.
Slide the small paddle handles onto the silver levers sticking out of either side of the chair mech (You can see the silver paddle levers above)
Attach armrests to the underside of the chair, just slide them into the side and then turn the hand screw to tighten them up.
Place the chair onto the gas strut &5-star base securely.
The assembly of an office chair in general is a very easy task that anyone can do it without much effort. Most pieces are assembled together and only a few components like clockwork or arms may need some hardware.
