How to Door Closer Fitting?
With a few simple tools and the below steps, you can complete the relatively easy task of fitting a door closer:
Choose the door opening, and draw two holes on the frame for the arm shoe and four holes for the door closer.
For the included screws, drill the pilot holes in the door and frame.
Using the screws that come with the door closer, attach the forearm or arm shoe assembly to the door frame.
Now, install the door closer with included screws. The hinge edge must be the position of the speed-adjusting valve.
Put the main arm perpendicular to the door on the top pinion shaft.
Use the included arm screw or washer assembly to secure firmly.
When the forearm is attached to the main arm that is already loaded, modify its length so that it is perpendicular to the frame.
Using the included screw/washer assembly, connect the forearm to main arm.
Finally, lock the pinion cap over the closer's shaft.
