Hi, Last week I had a friend over at my house, who came with his 6-year-old kid. The kid took a pen from his father and started drawing on my leather sofa. My friend stopped him right away and apologized for the kid's behavior. He then told me a few methods about how to get rid of pen marks on leather sofa. 

How to Remove Pen Mark on Leather Sofa?

• Soap And Water

  :

He told me that when it comes to how to remove pen mark from leather couch, Soap and water work like magic. For that, he told me to make a solution of soap and water. After that, dip a cloth in it and start rubbing the mark starting from the outer edges towards the center. 

• Vinegar

According to him, Vinegar when mixed with water can remove ink pretty easily. For that, he told me to mix vinegar and water in a ratio of 1:1. Then dip a soft cloth in that solution and dap the ink mark gently. After the stain goes away, he suggested me to make a solution of warm water and dish soap.  Then wipe the area with a cloth to remove the vinegar odour. 

• Hair Spray

Hair Spray works really well when it comes to how to remove pen mark from leather couch. He told me to spray the stain with hair spray and let it sit there for a few minutes. After that, rinse the spot wth cold water and use a dry cloth to dab away the stain.

Let me tell you how to remove pen marks from leather sofa:

• Tissues

• Mild liquid dish soap

• Soft washcloth

• Rubbing alcohol

• Cotton balls

• Use a few tissues to blot the ink marks right away. To avoid spreading the ink, you should be working from the outside of the stain toward the center.

• Dampen a soft washcloth in warm water. Now, apply 1-2 drops of mild, dishwashing soap to a small part of the washcloth. Scrub the mark carefully, working from the outer edges to the middle.

• Rub the area with a damp washcloth for removing any soap residue. You should srub the area until all the mark is completely gone or until the ink stops transferring to the washcloth.

• Now, moisten a cotton ball with rubbing alcohol and start rubbing the cotton ball on the remaining ink mark in a circular motion. Replace the cotton ball as required, and keep rubbing the mark until it is completely gone.

• Wipe the portion of the sofa with a damp washcloth to remove any residue of rubbing alcohol.
