1. Go to the e-Way Bill portal login page. (

2. On the page, click the “Forgot Credentials” option. Choose “Forgot Password.”

3. Next, enter your username and your GSTIN or the TRANS ID in the given fields. Make sure to type them correctly so the system can identify your account.

4. After this, enter the captcha code shown in the image. The captcha helps the system know that you are a real person and not a robot. 

5. Then, enter your registered mobile number. Once you have entered all the details, click the “Send OTP” button. The system will send a One-Time Password (OTP) to the mobile number you provided.

6. Check your mobile phone for the OTP. Enter the OTP in the required field on the portal. After entering the OTP correctly, the portal will allow you to log in to your account. 

7. Once you log in, go to the option for changing or resetting the password. Create a new password for your account. Make sure you choose a strong password that is easy for you to remember but hard for others to guess.

8. After creating the new password, save it in a safe place. You can now use this new password to log in to the e-Way Bill portal whenever needed. Following these steps carefully ensures that you can access your account and continue using the portal without problems.
