Then, gather all the required packing materials. You can use old blankets, bubble wrap, plastic wrap, cardboard, packing tape, and furniture covers to protect your belongings.
After that, remove detachable parts such as table legs, bed frames, sofa cushions, and cabinet handles. Keep all screws, nuts, and bolts in separate labelled bags so you can find them easily later.
Then, cover large furniture items with blankets or furniture pads. Secure the covers with plastic wrap to prevent them from slipping during transportation.
Pay special attention to furniture corners, glass surfaces, and delicate items. Use cardboard to protect corners and bubble wrap to prevent scratches. Wrap mirrors carefully with cardboard and protective padding.
Empty drawers, cabinets, and shelves before packing them. Pack their contents separately and keep important documents with you.
Finally, load the furniture carefully into the moving truck. Place heavy items securely against the walls and distribute the weight evenly. Use straps to keep furniture from shifting during transport.
