My renovator informed me that tile adhesive gel and the following procedure can be utilised for securing tiles on a wall without the need for cement.
Make sure the wall surface is clean first.
Next, use a trowel to apply the adhesive gel to the wall.
After that, confirm that the tiles are correctly placed by pressing them onto the adhesive.
Finally, to complete the overall appearance, let the adhesive dry for the prescribed duration before grouting the tiles.

Remove the tile, if it's completely broken. If the tile is intact, pull it out and reuse it.
Scoop out the old cement
Sand the wall to ensure the base is clean.
Put the cement mixture on the wall.
Place the tile in the correct position and press down
Cover the edges of the tile with joint filler
Spread the remaining cement into the corner for an even finish.
Once the mortar is dried up, wash the tiles with a sponge to remove excess product.
