To close your home loan first you need to pay off the outstanding loan amount. You are also required to pay prepayment charges if you close the home loan before the tenure completion. Once all payments and charges are paid, don’t forget to take your No Dues Certificate (NDC) from your bank. Collect your collateral from the bank which they may hold. Ask your lender to update your CIBIL score.
