If you are wondering, how to apply HDFC home loan, I’d like to say that you can apply it by visiting the official website of the service provider,

. However, a few years back, when I applied for a home loan from HDFC, I had to fill out an application form. I’ll be happy to share my journey with you.

How to Get Home Loan from HDFC Bank?

• My home loan application procedure in HDFC Bank started by filling out this

  Home Loan - Application form 

• The basic details that I had to enter were;

1. Address 

2. Name

3. Education

4. Contact details

5. Income earned 

6. Type of employment – salaried or self-employed 

• Now after filling out this form, I had to attach documents like 

1. Address of proof

2. Identity proof – PAN card/ Aadhar Card / Voter ID/ Driving license

3. Proof of employment

4. Salary slips of the last 3 months 

5. Form 16 

6. Bank statements of the last 6 months 

• My home loan application was processed by the bank as soon as the form and necessary papers were submitted. Verifying borrower creditworthiness was the next stage. Finally, after the verification, the bank moved forward with my loan application. 

• After approving my home loan application, the Bank sends a sanction letter. This letter was proof that the Bank had approved my loan. I had to sign this letter and send it back to the bank.

• On signing the sanction letter, I was asked to pay a one-time secure payment fee. 

• Now after all types of legal and technical checks the Bank approved my home loan, and I received a final agreement letter. After the loan disbursal, I also received a welcome kit and a detailed housing loan EMI schedule.

• Tap on ‘Apply for Home Loan’
• Tap on ‘Check Eligibility’ to check the home loan amount eligibility
• Under the ‘Basic information’ tab, choose the type of home loan you want like plot loan, house renovation loan, home loan, etc.).
