I moved here because I work in a factory near Peenya and wanted to avoid spending hours commuting. Found a decent 2 BHK for ₹10,000. What I like most is that the area isn’t loud like city-side places. My kids walk to school nearby, and my wife feels safe going out even after dark. Only pain is the bus timing—if you miss one, the next comes late. For shopping, we still travel to Dasarahalli or Yeshwanthpur. But if your office is nearby, this place does the job.
Visited my cousin who had her baby recently. First impression—it felt like a village, but with a few city touches here and there. The roads are better than what I expected, and there’s good lighting at night. Her house was near the Maramma Temple, and the vibe was very local and peaceful. But if I had to stay long-term, I’d struggle with things like cafés, bookstores, or even a simple juice shop nearby. Not a problem for them, but would be for someone like me.
We’ve lived here since the time this place didn’t even have proper drainage. It’s changed now—there’s a bus stop close by, the roads are tarred, and there are even delivery boys from Swiggy these days. I’ve seen the land rate triple in the last five years. My only concern is the garbage pickup isn’t regular in some lanes, and sometimes there are street dogs at night. But all said and done, it’s been a good place to raise a family without city stress.
Bought a plot here 3 years back because I couldn’t afford anything near Jalahalli or Dasarahalli. Back then, people said it’s too far. But now, SH 39 is better, and metro construction near Madavara has made things promising. I haven’t built anything yet, but rental demand is slowly picking up. A small tea shop has come up next to my site, which says a lot. There’s still scope for improvement, especially retail-wise, but from an investment point—it’s ticking the right boxes.
