Staying in a PG on Subhash Road is handy because the local train station is just a short walk away. The lanes get super crowded in the evening though, and autos always charge extra.

Travelling to work is simple since the Western Express Highway is right next to the area. But crossing the main junction takes forever during peak hours because of all the traffic.

Getting groceries or daily food is never an issue here with so many small shops and markets open till late. Rents are reasonable for this side of Mumbai too.

The narrow internal roads make it very difficult for trucks to deliver goods to shops. Traffic near Pioneer Industrial Estate is just a nightmare throughout the day, completely blocked.

Finding a quiet spot for a stroll is tough here because cars and bikes are parked everywhere on the lanes. Street lights also don't work properly in some parts at night.

Basic needs like pharmacies and clinics are right around the corner, which is very helpful. The area feels quite safe during the day and everything is within walking distance.

The drains here get filled with garbage and even a normal rain causes water to flood the streets. Getting out of the area becomes impossible during monsoons...

Getting an auto from the Jogeshwari East metro station to the inner streets is quite easy. There are plenty of local eating places around that stay busy till late.

Rental returns are steady here since it is so close to the station and the highway. Rooms and small apartments get snapped up very fast by young professionals.

Water timings are fixed but the pressure is decent for daily needs. The main lanes stay very busy and noisy, but the location is handy for reaching both east and west sides...
