Srinivaspur is a charming town nestled in the Kolar district of Karnataka, India. Srinivaspur PIN code is 563135. It is situated approximately 106 km from Bangalore, the state capital, and 80 km from Kempegowda International Airport. Srinivaspur offers a relaxed lifestyle amidst natural surroundings while being well-connected to cities like Kolar and Bengaluru.
Srinivaspur is a quiet and simple area, good for people who prefer peaceful surroundings. I stayed near the main bus stand, and daily travel was easy with KSRTC buses.
The good thing is that it's close to Yelahanka station, which makes it easier for me to travel back to my home. Airport is close too, and there are basic essentials readily available within walking distance. My concern lies in the lack of shopping malls here. The nearest one is around 10 km away.
I bought a 2 BHK here last year, and it's a good residential locality. Public transport is there but no metro as of now. Good thing is that there are lots of food stalls and eateries nearby, and the traffic is less too. It's more peaceful than some key areas in Bangalore.
Been living here for the past 5 years, and I have seen the area growing. There's some new cafes and coffee shops here lately, which I love to explore in weekends. Good area for families but if you need metro access and are looking for nightlife, you will be heavily disappointed, as it's a quiet area and gets very dark after 9 pm.
I moved here with my sister last year, and so far it's been an okay experience. Although we haven't faced any major issues, I feel the area is too quiet. Nothing vibrant or fancy. Weekends will be boring if you don't go a little far like Hebbal or Indiranagar.
My sister lives here with her family, and I visit her every month. It's a quiet getaway for me from the usual Bangalore chaos. The traffic is less, and feels more calm here. There's nothing much to do here, so we just go to a small cafe or tea stall to hang out. Some lanes need better lighting though, as it gets dark after 7 pm.
