I like the balanced lifestyle and relaxed pace of the area. Everything feels well planned. Still weekend crowd near main roads can be slightly annoying.

Someshwara Nagar works well for long term residential ownership. Civic services are reliable. Parking availability remains a common concern.

Someshwara Nagar is a chill little spot in busy Bangalore. Roads are decent, traffic’s usually okay. You’ve got small shops and add a food joints nearby. Autos and buses are easy to find. Some lanes are narrow, but that’s the old Bangalore vibe. It feels safe and quiet, perfect if you want a simple place close to the city buzz.

I shifted here mainly because my daughter's school is just 10 minutes away, and honestly, I didn’t expect to stay this long. What surprised me is how well the area supports families — there’s a local library down the lane, and my elderly mother even attends weekend bhajan sessions at a nearby temple. We do struggle with parking when my cousins visit, and evenings are a bit noisy with honking near the main road. But in terms of day-to-day life, it works really well for us. Everything from medical stores to mess food is just a short walk away — that convenience counts.

I visit Someshwara Nagar once a month for a therapy session and usually end up spending half the day here. What I like is that the area has these tiny filter coffee stalls and old-school bookstores tucked between modern clinics and bakeries. It feels like time slows down here — something I honestly look forward to after a hectic work week. Of course, the traffic near the cross roads can be frustrating and sidewalks are often blocked by scooters, but it's still one of those neighbourhoods where you can spend an afternoon without a plan.

My family’s been living in the same house here for nearly 25 years. We saw the area evolve from quiet residential lanes to what it is today — a semi-busy, well-networked place. What I value the most is that our street hasn’t lost its identity. Morning walkers still greet each other, and the vegetable vendor knows every house by name. That said, the pressure on civic infrastructure has grown. We’ve had water supply issues during peak summer months, and garbage pickups can be inconsistent. But emotionally, it still feels like home — not just because of the house, but the community.

I’m not from this area originally, but I bought a 1 BHK flat here in 2020 purely as an investment. What convinced me wasn’t just the rental demand, but the mix of tenants — a lot of professionals, some senior couples, and even students from nearby colleges. It creates consistent occupancy. However, from a landlord’s perspective, the upkeep cost is higher than in other areas I’ve invested in. Drainage issues during heavy rains and occasional pest complaints do come up. But in terms of value appreciation, it’s been a solid bet so far. Wouldn’t mind picking up another flat here, if priced right.
