Basic facilities are present. I think the metro work nearby is expected to boost property value in the coming years.

I rent out a flat here. Most tenants are IT professionals or students. They like the calm vibe and good location. It is not a very posh area, but it is clean, safe, and practical.

The area is calm and has a lot of small cafes and grocery stores. My office in HSR is just 10 minutes away, so it saves me a lot of time. Traffic gets a bit messy during rush hours.

I bought a flat in Somasundarapalya three years back. Prices were low then, and now I see a steady increase. Demand for rentals is good because it is close to HSR, Bommanahalli, and Electronic City. The area is still developing.

We have been living here for over six years now. Earlier there were fewer shops, now we have everything nearby. Roads are still narrow in some places, and garbage collection can be irregular. But it is a peaceful area.

Somasundarapalya has everything I need. Metro is still a bit far, but buses and autos are easy to find. Rent here is reasonable. I like that there are small gyms, local eateries, and supermarkets. Roads need maintenance

2 bhk rent in Somasundarapalya, what is the honest current range?

I'm looking for a 2 bhk in Somasundarapalya and wanted to know what the current rent is like. The prices I see online are quite different, so I'm not sure what the real market rate is. How much are people usually paying for a decent 2 bhk here these days? If you've rented recently or are staying in the area, please share the rent range and your experience.

Is Somasundarapalya a good rental pick for HSR office goers?

I am moving to Bangalore next month and planning to share room with my friend who's staying in Somasundarapalya. My office is in HSR. Is the rent actually cheaper than staying inside HSR? How is the commute, traffic, and daily life there? Also, are roads and basic stuff okay for a working bachelor?

Somasundarapalya is usually cheaper than HSR while still giving quick access to offices, but expect narrower roads, some traffic bottlenecks, and slightly less polished infrastructure than core HSR sectors.

Somasundarapalya is a popular choice for HSR office-goers because rents are generally lower than many parts of HSR while still being quite close to many offices...

well..the daily bachelor life here is a bit of a downgrade compared to proper HSR. You don’t have those massive tree-lined streets or fancy cafes right outside your doorstep but the basics are sorted...there are plenty of local messes, supermarkets and local gyms that are affordable and convenient too
