This place has strong community bonding, and that’s why I’ve never thought of selling. Still, there’s no modern residential development happening here

I have a property on rent here. Rental demand is strong due to affordability and proximity to commercial hubs. But capital appreciation is slower compared to BKC-adjacent areas.

You get value for money properties here, and the market is literally downstairs. Still, the buildings are quite old and not well-maintained. I like the local trains and buses - they are very accessible. But safety at night, especially for women, can be a concern in some lanes

I love that it’s well-connected to Kurla, Sion, and Ghatkopar. Unfortunately, during Ganeshotsav or Moharram, traffic management is chaotic. Parking is not adequate and narrow lanes are difficult to get through

I visited a friend during Eid, and the community vibe was strong. But the noise levels and congestion were overwhelming
