You won't hear honking every minute here, which is rare in Bangalore. The locality is mostly quiet, and day-to-day life feels less rushed. The metro station nearby has been a blessing, but during peak hours, the traffic at the junctions can test your patience. Grocery shops, a pharmacy, and a couple of decent eateries are all within walking distance. The only thing I miss is dedicated parking in some of the older apartment complexes.

Visited a friend here last weekend, and the contrast from central Bangalore was evident. Less chaotic, cleaner roads, and fairly green pockets. It’s not nightlife central, but for a laid-back weekend, it was great. Noticed some roadwork that slowed down traffic, though locals didn’t seem surprised.

We’ve lived here for 12 years, and I’ve seen the place change gradually—mostly for the better. Property values have appreciated, and the surroundings are more developed now. I do wish there was more discipline around waste segregation and slightly better parking policies in residential lanes.

I picked up a 2BHK here last year—primarily for rental yield—and so far, it’s been promising. The tenant demand is consistent due to the metro proximity and access to Peenya and Yeshwanthpur job clusters. With better waste management and additional green zones, it could attract even higher-value tenants.
