I live in D Colony in Mankhurd and it is a pleasant area. There are small food outlets and clinics close by. but public transport is not good here. metro isnt there. buses are overly crowded. its a task to get around if you don't have your own vehicle

The inner streets are not well maintained. too noisy and crowded because of narrow space and parking hassle
It's part industrial part residential. small colonies are there and good colleges also. I work in Chembur so commuting is no problem but if you don't own a vehicle, it will be tough becauuse public transport is rare
Area is more affordable compared with central areas. You get bigger flats too. It's close-knit and very safe to live here.
Staying in Mankhurd has been quite simple on my part. I love having my workplace, Indra English High School & Junior College nearby, and the small mall near Mandala is perfect for coffee on weekends. The area is just friendly to live.
