It is a long term hold. the location is prime so the demand is hige and rental yield is strong. but this won't remain if there's no direct metro

I live in D Colony in Mankhurd and it is a pleasant area. There are small food outlets and clinics close by. but public transport is not good here. metro isnt there. buses are overly crowded. its a task to get around if you don't have your own vehicle

affordable propeties, and good livable environment but there's lack of good hospitals within the area. You have to go to Chembur

The inner streets are not well maintained. too noisy and crowded because of narrow space and parking hassle

It's part industrial part residential. small colonies are there and good colleges also. I work in Chembur so commuting is no problem but if you don't own a vehicle, it will be tough becauuse public transport is rare

Area is more affordable compared with central areas. You get bigger flats too. It's close-knit and very safe to live here.

Staying in Mankhurd has been quite simple on my part. I love having my workplace, Indra English High School & Junior College nearby, and the small mall near Mandala is perfect for coffee on weekends. The area is just friendly to live.

train from Mankhurd station makes travelling anywhere easier. The heavy dust from main road traffic and constant construction nearby is super annoying though...

The main hassle is evening traffic jams near the Sion-Panvel Highway junction that block entire lanes.

Walking around at night feels sketchy though..like mostly because streetlights on inner roads are broken or plain missing.

one annoying thing is autos here refuse to run on meter though, especially near the station exit during peak hours.

Everything for daily life is available right on the main street. Monsoons are rough though, water accumulates quickly on lower roads near the railway tracks.

Chemist shops and small doctors are right around the corner. Walking in the mornings is tough because footpaths are either non-existent or occupied by roadside stalls.

Finding a safe place to park a car on the narrow inner roads is a total headache though.

Rents are low but occupancy is always 100% due to close proximity to industrial belts and Navi Mumbai. Capital appreciation is slow compared to neighboring pockets.

Budget food joints and cheap PG spaces are easy to find around here. Getting around after midnight is a pain though since share autos stop running early.

love the mankhurd metro from here..social life is great..theres Anushakti Nagar Lake..and lots of greenery spaces
