I live in a small flat above a shop in Lohar Chawl. it's very noisy and chaotic in the mornings. If you are looking for peaceful area, this will not be it.

Its a commercial area but there are many small residential flats as well. the prices of properties keep fluctuating. Traffic is huge because it's like a market area. Plus the pollution

The area has evolved a lot in terms of infrastructure. earlier, it used to be very quiet but now there are so many traders and market areas here. It has positive aspects like rental income and running businesses but peace is non existent

Tenant turnover is a bit high here so investing to rent is still risky. also the tenants are mostly traders and students in nearby colleges so it is transiet. if you're willing to wait and hold, it can be good.

Not ideal for families or even residential living. it's chaos. messy and too noisy. will only work if you're on a budget and want a temporary stay. I stayed for 6 months only for my internship
