Kothu Wadi is a really nice area in Mumbai. Although the rent is steep, I find the infrastructure really modern and helpful. Transportation is strong, roads are good, inner streets are well-lit

Great area for families. I personally like the fact that the inner lanes are peaceful yet well connected to the city. There are multiple shopping outlets within walking distance. Santacruz in general is a safe area.

The area is very expensive. I stayed here for a year for my internship at a nearby NGO. loved the peace and luxurious amenities but even PGs and dormitories are very expensive here.

My maasi lives here so whenever we visit Mumbai, we stay here. I absolutely love this area. It's close to Juhu Beach and also airport. Very convenient. Only thing, you will struggle to park in public places. It's mostly crowded.
