I moved here mainly for work and schooling convenience, and it’s been a relief not having to stress over long commutes. My child’s school is just a short walk away, and public transport is always within reach. The evenings are quiet, and the neighbours are helpful. While parking is a bit of a daily puzzle, especially on weekends, the overall environment feels safe and balanced.

Visited a friend recently and was pleasantly surprised by how laid-back the area feels despite being so close to Mysore Road. The main drawback I noticed was limited green spaces or public parks to just relax in. Still, the surroundings were clean, and it felt secure even during evening hours. Could use more eateries, though.

Having owned a house here for over a decade, I’ve seen the neighbourhood evolve steadily. Roads are better maintained now, and the nearby infrastructure upgrades have positively impacted property value. The sense of community is something I truly value. Though weekends can get a little congested traffic-wise, everything else is pretty much in place.

What drew me to Kalidasa Layout was its proximity to employment zones and educational institutions. From an investment standpoint, rental demand has remained consistent. Some sections of the layout could benefit from better nightlife or dining options, but for families and working professionals, it checks most boxes.
