It’s one of the best localities of Bangalore. Lot of greenery, wide roads, many restaurants and cafes, good street food, overall very good vibe.

HSR Layout has amazing Bengali restaurants that truly capture the taste of Kolkata. You can try Esplanade for its authentic Bengali thalis and signature kosha mangsho, or Bhojohori Manna, a popular spot known for its homestyle fish curries and mishti doi. Good locality with big roads and lot of options for foodies

Moved to HSR layout a few months ago, Traffic congestion and noise pollution may be a concern. But, people from all communities coexist here. Neighbourhood is decent and good. Also, it has schools, hospitals and restaurant are nearby. Overall HSR Layout is well maintained.

Wide spacious planned layout, with numerous parks and open spaces. Good ambience with adequate greenery. At right proper distance from ring round, no issue of traffic within HSR. Availability of all necessity nearby.

One of the top places to live in Bangalore. It’s accessible, well connected and definitely a hotspot that has grown to be a preferred choice for most outsiders and localites.

cabs, autos and buses are easily available from here. In fact, roads are also well-maintained

Living in HSR was not at all a good experience for me. Frequent traffic jams make it difficult to commute even if you leave your house before 2 hours so I didn't like the locality.

Cleanliness is well-maintained with regular garbage collection and well-paved roads

Which are the best apartments in HSR Layout?

I currently stay in Bannerghatta Road in a very good gated society, with easy access to all facilities. My office is in Kaikondrahalli, hence daily commute takes me 1-1.5 hours daily. I'm planning to move to HSR Layout as it is a good neighbourhood, it's green, walkable, buzzing with food joints and brand outlets. This will also reduce my commutation time by half. Any suggestions, which are the best apartments in HSR Layout to live on rent?

If budget is not a constraint, you can consider Assetz 27 Park View in HSR Sector 1. The location is peaceful and conveniently located at a distance of 4-5 km from Kaikondrahalli. It's a premium society, and flats are very spacious.

Salarpuria Cadenza is an excellent choice. It is situated near Kudlu Gate, Hosur Road. You may easily commute to Kaikondrahalli in 20 to 30 minutes from here. Also, Kudlu Gate is close to HSR Layout and has good public transportation options. The Yellow Line of Metro goes via Kudlu Gate and provides excellent connection to several parts of Bengaluru.

My friend stayed in Meenakshi Classic for about 3 years and i have frequented her apartment. It is situated bang on 27th main, the best location/street in HSR, so the location is prime and its a main road facing building with most amenities of use. It's a gated society.

In HSR, there is one more great regional food joint. Himachali pure veg rasoi serves great Siddu. Apart from this they also serve sweet siddu & Himachali Dham. It is located on 24th Main, sector 2, HSR. This place is also great for Himachali Chai, so its a great place for evening snacks along with chai.
