Brindavan Nagar has been my home for over a decade now. I bought this house mainly because of the peace it offers. It’s also close enough to Whitefield and Koramangala, maintaining a vibrant atmosphere. But the biggest pain is drainage and water logging during monsoons. The BBMP hasn’t really addressed this well.

The locality has a semi-urban feel, with temples, small groceries, and local bakeries. There’s a nice community vibe, especially for South Indian families. But not many 24/7 medical shops or emergency hospitals in walking distance.

It's peaceful but public transport is weak. You’ll need your own vehicle for almost everything. Also, Uber/Ola availability isn’t always reliable during peak hours. The roads connecting to the main ORR are patchy and dusty. I’d also say there’s a shortage of good parks

I rent here because my college is close. And finding a 1 BHK near Christ University was a nightmare. This place has fairly good deals. It's also walkable to my college although sometimes I take an auto. There are cafes, gyms, and grocery stores nearby but for vibrant nightlife, you will have to go to 5th block Koramangala which isn't very far.
