Love the vibrant cafe and shopping culture here. I used Colaba Causeway for some great souvenirs and cafés. walking around is fun. On the flip side, negotiating with street vendors can get exhausting after a while.

Best part is the fast access to Churchgate and CSMT trains. And living near the Gateway of India is a bliss. I wish the rent wasn't so expensive here.

The cab and metro connectivity is superb here and autos run on meter, and trains are minutes away. Still the crowds means lift queues in the morning rush can be a hassle in shared buildings.

Because it’s a heritage area near Gateway of India, there are strict conservation rules like alterations need permissions, which delays redevelopment too

I feel safe here as plenty of police patrol near the Gateway, even at night. One thing is it’s always crowded and noisy by evening, and space in old buildings feels tight. Traffic is unbearable
