With summer right around the corner, I thought it was the right time to check if my AC was working properly or not. I turned on the AC to check if it was running or not. The AC was running properly, but it was not cooling. I called an AC technician and asked him why is my Hitachi AC not cooling.
Why My Hitachi AC is not Cooling?
The AC technician visited my house and inspected the AC, and after a while, he told me that this issue was due to overheating. Following this, he fixed the issue and here are the steps that he had taken.
He started by switching off the AC unit.
After that, he held both sides of the front panel and gently removed it.
Next, he located the filters and slowly removed it by pulling them towards him.
Following that, he used room-temperature water to clean the filter.
After cleaning, he left it out under a shade for it to dry.
Once it was dry, he gently pushed it back and closed the front panel.
Then he turned the power back on, and the cooling function of the AC was working again. So, if you have a similar issue, you need to hire a professional. I hope this helps.
