When I was younger, I saw a movie called “ O my Friend Ganesha”. Ever since then, I have been curious about what should be the Ganesh idol facing direction in home. If you want to bring prosperity to your house with the blessings of Lord Ganesha, take a look at my answer. 

According to Vastu experts, Ganesha Idol should be placed in the east or west direction of your home. The Northeast direction of the house is also considered a good placement for the idol.
