I will share the pros and cons of the most popular options, so you can figure out which one suits your needs the most:

Pros:

It adds timeless beauty to your home, which will never go out of style.

Available in a wide range of colours, thanks to different wood species, such as maple, bamboo, walnut, cherry, knotty pine, oak, birch, and hickory.

Wood cabinets are durable, strong, and resistant to damages.

It tends to be expensive.

It naturally reacts to humidity and may crack or warp.

It should be treated with a waterproof finish and cleaned with non-abrasive products developed particularly for wood.

It is an affordable and durable option.

You can achieve the look of almost every material (such as leather, metal, wood, etc.) with laminates since the printed layer comes on a paper backing.

Its skin doesn’t fade, scratch, or wear off easily and it doesn’t need repeated polishing.

Laminates are easy to clean and quite resistant to moisture.

Its edges tend to peel off if not installed properly.
