Although this is a term which you should be aware of even if you are not into the real estate field and know what is scaffolding in construction. Scaffolding serves as both an interim framework to support the actual building and a platform for construction workers. The many scaffolding types depend on the kind of building being done. What is the meaning of scaffolding and Types of Scaffolding?

1. Single Scaffolding Single scaffolding, commonly known as brick layer's scaffolding, is typically used for brick brickwork. To strengthen it, two rows of scaffolds are built. The very first row is 20 to 30 cm from the wall, and the second row is one metre distant. Then putlogs that are supported by both frames are placed. Rakers and cross bracing are provided to increase its strength. This also goes by the name of independent scaffolding. 3. Cantilever Scaffolding This kind of scaffolding has a series of needles supporting the standards, and the needles are removed via holes in the wall. It is referred to as single-frame scaffolding. The alternative sort of scaffolding, known as freestanding or double frame scaffolding, involves strutting needles through apertures in the flooring. Cantilever scaffolding construction should be done carefully. 4. Suspended Scaffolding The working platform in suspended scaffolding is attached from roofs using wire ropes, chains, etc., and can be adjusted or lowered to the desired level. This kind of scaffolding is used for painting, pointing, and repair work, among other things. 5. Trestle Scaffolding The deck is supported by flexible tripods or ladders in a trestle scaffold. Until a height of 5 metres, this is typically used for inside-the-room activities like painting, repairs, etc. 6. Steel Scaffolding Steel couplers or connectors are used to assemble the steel tubes that makeup steel scaffolding. It is incredibly simple to put together or take apart. It is stronger, more resilient to wear and tear, and more fire resistant. Although it is not cost-effective, it will increase worker safety. As a result, it is frequently used today. 7. Patented Scaffolding Patented scaffolds are made of steel but include unique couplings, frames, and other features. These scaffolds are ready-made and sold in the market.
